(1) Help With General Trip Planning: $95
This option is recommended if you’re in the beginning stages of planning your walking vacation or would like general help with things like:
- finding the right European trail for you
- training for your hike
- the right gear
- the best way to pack your bag
The general trip consultation is done over the phone, during a 30-minute call. That’s usually plenty of time to tackle your most pressing questions, but if you want more time, you’re welcome to book a follow-up appointment.

Once your booking is finalized, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your scheduled consultation time and instructions for the call.
(2) Help Putting Together Your Ideal Walking Vacation: $325
This option is recommended if you’d like to walk one of the routes that Explore on Foot produces a route guide for (GR 34, France; Alsace Wine Route, France; King Ludwig’s Way, Germany) and would like some one-on-one help with:
- developing your itinerary
- figuring out the best options for getting to and from the trailhead
- finding private+public transportation to shorten daily stages
- arranging luggage transport
This more detailed trip consultation involves an initial 30-minute phone call, an email summarizing the trip details we pulled together for you and a follow-up 20-minute call to go over everything. You’re responsible for making your own reservations.
